Now that we’ve got all of our issues worked out (school, shingles, a burst pipe in the yard, rabies shots, etc.), I finally got around to making some little treats for our teachers!
I filled three kraft boxes with four layer brownie bites!!! Think chocolate on top of chocolate filled with peanut butter and topped with chocolate. Yeah. You’ve got a little bit of drool on your chin, right?! The good news is that they couldn’t be easier!!
Four Layer Brownie Bites
– 24 break and bake chocolate chip cookies
– 24 mini reeses cups
– box of brownie mix, prepare the batter according to directions
– m&m’s
1. Grease two 12-cup muffin pans. Do this WELL as these can be the devil to get out.
2. Flatten each square of chocolate chip cookie dough and put one in the bottom of each muffin cup.
3. Top with one unwrapped reeses cup, upside down.
4. Top with a spoon full or two of brownie batter.
5. Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes, or until cooked through. When there is about 5 minutes left, pull out of the oven and top with m&m’s.
I whipped up the little Care for a Bite tags at the last minute. You can download the free printable file HERE: Bat Bite Free Printable File

SO cute- thanks for sharing, will definitely be making these!
Was the bat in honor of this year's midnight visitor? ?
XO-
Amelia
Oh yes. We just love thinking about him :-)
Drool on my chin – yes! These sound so yummy (and the tag is the perfect icing on the cake). Thinking we'll make these to take to some friends this afternoon. And glad to hear issues are resolved! xo
These are adorable and sound delish! Can you make them with vampires instead of bats?…not sure if I am ready to see bats yet…lol.
Shelley
Embrace the bat Shelley :-). I really just needed something that started with b. But vampire bites would have been cute too :-)
Yum, and love how you presented them. Glad you guys have been able to put everything behind you.
How cute! I feel sure that all the teachers hope to have your boys in their classes. Glad things are better!
xo

Wishing you had extras to deliver my way but I can see why you didn't;) I'm planning to make these for the bus driver appreciation snack and for Colin's teachers next week. I'll be sure to sample them first though. YUM!!! Love, Bestie S
My parents were here too so there wasn't a crumb left :-)
Yum! I'm going to have to make those next week! And love the printable- what a nice way to honor the bat ?
LOVE that tulle ribbon…can you share the source?
Picked it up at Michael's last week!
Just made these for teachers and choir teachers at church. I wish I could attach a picture, but turned out so cute. And are quite tasty! Thanks for the great idea.
