Door Decor

As I’m sure y’all have gathered by now, one of my go-to quick fixes for every season and holiday is to spruce up my front porch.  It’s a great place to add a little holiday décor and it makes the entire house so inviting for our guests.  Since we did our big curb appeal makeover a couple of years ago, I’ve acquired or crafted a whole year’s worth of front porch décor.  Without further ado, here’s a little year long tour of my door…

I store them on coat hangers in my attic when they aren’t in use and they barely take up any room at all.

I really need one last good thing to hang on my door between Christmas and Valentine’s Day.  Maybe a snowman??  If y’all have seen something cute, pass it along!

  1. Your front porch always looks great! For winter, it might be nice to feature a snowy evergreen(s) to mimic your woodsy surroundings and add a touch of green. Jane ~ San Diego

(Please convey my appreciation and delight to your sweet mother…the bracelets fit perfectly!)

  2. Amanda, I just wanted to let you know how much I love your blog! I've been reading it for three years now and find so much useful decorating and cooking information, and just plenty of fun reads! My favorite posts are usually Sunday Supper and On My Bedside. I don't know where you find the time, but thank you for a terrific blog! Donna

  3. You have a great collection Amanda! I do the same thing to my front door every month, I think it makes the house look extra festive (except I have a Bulldog door hanger instead of Tech!) For January I found a monogrammed snowflake in light blue off Etsy, I love it! Enjoy the weekend & love your blog!!

  4. Decorating our front door/porch is one of my favorite things – and I love all of yours! Crabby & Halloween remain my favorites… but I sure like the cross & turkey, too! xo

  5. You need a wooden monogram snowman! I've seen them on Etsy. I'm buying one for my sister-in-law because she uses her snowman decorations between Christmas and Valentine's Day. She has snowman china, hand towels, etc. I wish I was more like y'all with making every day special! Take care. Judy Soltis

  6. Even though we're in the South, I vote for a snowman. Ditch the traditional scarf and put a bow tie on him. Love all of your cute door decor. Have a great week!
