Classic Christmas Home Tour 2023 {Dining Room}

I change my dining room table every Christmas, but mostly use items I already have. I fell in love with this April Cornell tablecloth and everything fell into place from there.

You can tour the dining room, along with the living room, in this video:

And in photos below…

Other than the linens, I had everything else already from prior years. I layered a Christmas garland, eucalyptus garland and frosty picks down the center of the table.

And then I nestled in red roses.

The bells were a new addition last year that I look forward to using in different ways over the years. They remind me of the saying “Every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings” and make me think of baby Matthew.

I added red ribbons in the greenery for more color. I’ve reused the cute tags (on sale from Hester and Cook) for three years now.

I don’t keep the table set like that in perpetuity, but I know readers like to see table settings for ideas.  So do I!!  This year it was all set for our family Thanksgiving.

My favorite in this room is the nativity.  It’s one of the very first Christmas decorations I ever purchased, over 20 years ago.  It is so beautifully detailed and the manger has a small light that I love turning on in the evenings.

  1. What a gorgeous table – and tablecloth! The April Cornell flagship store is in Burlington , VT. Did you stop in when you visited? My son goes to college up there and I need to check out the store one of these days!
