Happy Hour {Nuir’s Margarita}

When we sailed the Disney Treasure last month we attended a FUN and informative tequila tasting event. Our host, Nuir, taught us how to make the most delicious margaritas. We’ve been wanting to try them at home and this gorgeous spring weather got us motivated to get squeezing!

Sour Mix

In a 750 mL bottle, squeeze:

  • 10 lemons
  • 10 limes

Add “1 finger” simple syrup (boil 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water until it reduces to a syrup, cool).

Fill up to the bottom of the neck with orange juice.

Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Nuir’s Margarita

Muddle lemon and lime in bottom of shaker.

Add and shake:

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec or cointreau
  • 3 oz sour mix

Rim glass, if desired. I like sugar and tajin mixed.

Pour and enjoy!
