Happy Sunday, friends! Today I’m back with a review of… go with me here… Ina Garten’s Brussels Sprouts Pizza Carbonara. I know, I thought the same thing – Brussels sprouts on pizza?! But hear me out. I love them, I love Ina, and I love pizza. Plus, Honey and Whit are always game to try something new (not true of my other child, ha!).

It was good. Like we gobbled it up good! The recipe is pretty in-depth, so make sure you’ve got all hands on deck or that you do your prep work in advance. The tip to shred the Brussels sprouts in the food processor was solid, and the béchamel sauce? Delicious.

I used extra cheese and pre-made dough balls from the Publix bakery. Whit drizzled his slices with hot honey (pictured). All in all, it was good for a change. Maybe not an every week rotation meal, but definitely something fun and different!
It finally feels like fall here, so as I sit down to menu plan today, I’m throwing all the comfort meals on the list… chili, breakfast for supper, chicken pot pie soup, grilled cheese sammies… I’m excited just thinking about it!
