Our day in Zermatt was full of adventure in this charming Alpine town. We went from ropes courses and zip lining to a lovely evening with kids at a movie night and adults having cocktails!

Breakfast at Mont Cervin Palace
With the gorgeous breakfast buffet at Mont Cervin Palace, it was easy to fuel up for our action-packed day.
Ropes Course and Zip Lining at Forest Fun Park
Our morning of fun and adrenaline kicked off at Forest Fun Park, arriving in a mini electric car. After gearing up, we were off a series of ropes and obstacle courses – the kids running off in packs and the adults sticking together too. In all, there are 25 bridges and 12 zip lines, and it is quote a workout to dangle, swim and climb through the trees. Best of all was flying through the sky under the Matterhorn!
While Forest Fun Park offered both beginner and advanced courses, Adventures by Disney are often multi-generational trips and there is something for everyone! If you prefer not to participate in the physical activities, you can watch the activities from the sidelines—or stay behind in Zermatt to explore on your own. The guides were both with us taking pictures and providing drinks and snacks between runs. It was such a fun morning!
Free Afternoon in Zermatt
We opted to walk back from the zip lining excursion and just marveled at this picture perfect town. We stopped for some chocolate shopping and a light lunch of crepes.

The boys hit the gym and pool with some of the other kids. They had a blast!
With some time to ourselves, we went back out and found a lovely lounge and a sidewalk seat to talk, people watch (dog watch, mostly) and soak it all in! Oh, and we couldn’t resist eating the chocolate we just bought.
Dinner & Junior Adventurers Disney Movie Night
One feature I love about each Adventure itinerary is the adult dinner night! But, with so many teens in our group, they opted to dine with us. This evening always comes at the perfect time – where you feel like a cohesive travel group and are friending each other on social media and discussing your next adventure. We split up in adult and kids tables and feasted on scrumptious regional specialties.
The kids finished up quickly and hit the pool, ping pong and foosball gaming area of the hotel. Our adventure guides then took them for a Disney movie night.
Meanwhile, the adults ended up in the beautiful lounge at Mont Cervin Palace with live music and yummy beverages.
