Classic Christmas Home Tour 2025 {Dining Room}

Since we updated the dining room and its Christmas decor in 2024, I didn’t make any significant changes in 2025. I loved it then and still do, so this year was all about enjoying what we already had rather than reinventing the space.

Because this is our primary dining space and where we gather daily for supper (and weekend breakfasts), I chose to keep the table simple. I’ve loved doing more elaborate tablescapes in seasons past, but we really live here, and practicality always wins. We aren’t hosting Christmas dinners this year, so the simple deer and candles felt just right.

The built in that replaced the china cabinet from our old home continues to be one of my favorite choices in this space. It fits beautifully and provides so much storage. For Christmas, I hung mini wreaths from Kirkland’s on each door and tied them with red satin ribbon. It’s a classic touch that feels festive!

The mirror on the far wall originally lived in the kitchen and the sconces came from the living room. I love finding ways to repurpose pieces we already own.

My favorite piece in this room remains the nativity. It was one of the very first Christmas decorations I ever purchased, nearly twenty-five years ago. The details are so beautiful, and the small light inside the manger is something I still love turning on each evening. It brings such a peaceful glow to the room.

Brass bells hang from the sideboard with red ribbon.

We have truly enjoyed this room so much, and I know I owe you a full reveal post. Hopefully that will happen in early 2026. I know I’m over a year late.

Next, we will head upstairs!

I’m really trying to plug through this Christmas tour and today I’m back with the kitchen and mudroom. There haven’t been any significant changes from last year, but these are two of the most lived-in spaces in our home and they absolutely deserve a spot in the holiday lineup. Like most homes, our kitchen is… Read More

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

A festive favorite worth planning for again and again Earlier this month, I spent a full day at EPCOT soaking in one of my very favorite seasonal events: the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. There’s just something about EPCOT during Christmas that feels especially meaningful. Maybe it’s the way traditions from around the world… Read More

Sunday Supper {Penne with Five Cheeses}

On a chilly winter night, there are few things more comforting than carbs and cheese and Ina Garten’s Penne with Five Cheeses absolutely delivers. This dish has been on my “make soon” list for ages, and I finally pulled the trigger when the temperatures dropped and everyone was craving something hearty and familiar. The combination… Read More
