Biergarten Restaurant in Epcot

UPDATED REVIEW HERE

Every day is Oktoberfest at Biergarten Resturant in Germany in Epcot’s World Showcase!

Biergarten transports you to a traditional Bavarian village as you feast on German fare to the oompah beat of a lively Polka band! It isn’t just another meal but a special experience you likely don’t get at home.

I love that live entertainment is still happening at Biergarten, with the show running a few times during the meal.

The food is now served family style, which I much prefer over a buffet. The tables are limited to just your party now, which is another welcome change.

We all enjoyed German fare including bratwurst, rotisserie chicken, pork schnitzel and a variety of salads. Bavarian cheesecake and hand-pulled apple strudel, made fresh daily, are on the dessert menu! And, of course, German beers!

Biergarten is one of the few restaurants available for larger parties without splitting into multiple tables. The reservation is not too terribly hard to get, but I handle those details for my clients. I think this is largely an under-rated meal AND experience and had a lovely time on my visit!

My family has taken five trips to the most magical place on earth since the reopening – 9 days in July, 10 days in September/October, 7 days over Thanksgiving, 5 days in January and 6 days in February!  We continue to be blown away by the thoughtful, practical and comprehensive precautions Disney has in place to safely welcome guests and cast members. I don’t have all of the words to convey how special it felt to be back. We laughed, we played, we ate too much, and we felt a level of happiness we hadn’t had in too long. I can assure you, magic is there!
