I have built up my Halloween and Christmas decor collections over many, many years. I usually purchase just one, two or three new things in a year, but only if they are something I really love and think I’ll use for years to come. I am super excited to share this year’s new additions for Halloween!!
This set of six tiny mice skeletons are actually creepier than I thought they would be. I plan to use them in dinner tablescapes throughout the month but I think they will probably stay in my living room the majority of the time.
Speaking of the living room, I have an old desk in here that I very rarely fold down. I fell head over heels for this spooky animated typewriter and knew it was the perfect “big” thing for this year’s addition. It is motion activated and the HELP keys move up and down, you hear the sound of typing, and the return moves from left to right. EEK! I can hardly stand it waiting on someone to happen upon this. bwahahahahaha.
Last but not least, these eyeballs really caught my eye. I think there were probably eight or so in two different sizes in the set. They are very lightweight, filled with just foam. I bought them planning to fill my shell on the porch table with them but now I’m not so sure. I may leave them in the living room. The colors go well!
All of these were from the Grandin Road Halloween Shop. I’d been looking at them but when I got a 30% off code with free shipping I knew it was time! I’ll be ready to start sharing my Halloween tour in the next week or so, I hope!
