The third grade team at John’s school is having one birthday celebration day each month for all of the kids turning a year older. (I’m not even going to share my thoughts on that right now…) After a little back and forth, John finally decided that he wanted to treat his class to double doozies.
Seeing as two dozen of those little gems would have cost a pretty penny, we set to work with some break and bake cookies and jarred icing. They were super simple and VERY yummy!!
His class is known as Miss C’s Rockstars, so I made quick and easy little toothpick toppers for the cookie sandwiches. With that done, I’m on a mission to savor the last twelve days of having an eight year old. :-)
