In all of my life, I have only missed two Christmases in Savannah – the two years that my boys were born just a couple of weeks before the holiday.  My parents put so much love, thought, time and energy into making the holiday special.  They always have.  I hope my boys say the same thing about us one day!

When we arrived  Monday evening, the house, as usual, was dripping in Christmas decor.  Between that and the delightful smell of dinner ready on the stove, I was in heaven.

Once again, there is no place I’d rather be than home for the holidays.
