Two Decades of Loving John!

November 26, 2025November 27, 2025

Somehow, some way… my first baby is twenty. Two whole decades of loving him, learning from him and watching him grow into a young man I admire more than words could ever express. I am so proud of the man he has become, and for the supreme blessing of being his mom. Twenty feels big.… Read More

Halfway Through the Holiday

November 25, 2025November 26, 2025

Honey and I intended to sneak away with the boys for a short, relaxing getaway for the first half of the break week. With my recent work travel and Honey’s project deadlines, the last couple of months were absolutely gobbled up. As much as I crave family time away, I also try to always keep… Read More

A Whole Childhood of Remembering Matthew

November 22, 2025November 22, 2025

Eighteen years ago today was Thanksgiving morning.Eighteen years ago today was also the first and last time I held my son, Matthew. He was the tiniest baby I had ever seen, and also the most perfect. I spent the few hours I was given memorizing every tiny feature of his face, tracing his miniature fingers… Read More

School Night Supper {Ultimate Tuna Melts}

November 16, 2025November 17, 2025

I’m back today with another Ina Garten recipe: Ultimate Tuna Melts! This is one I’ve had flagged in my cookbook for ages but never quite gotten around to making. The main reason? Whit. The boy won’t touch a tuna melt with a ten-foot pole. He’ll eat his fish raw at a sushi bar all day… Read More

Happy Sunday, friends! Today I’m back with a review of… go with me here… Ina Garten’s Brussels Sprouts Pizza Carbonara. I know, I thought the same thing – Brussels sprouts on pizza?! But hear me out. I love them, I love Ina, and I love pizza. Plus, Honey and Whit are always game to try… Read More

Our Happiest Halloween

November 1, 2025November 2, 2025

As seasons shift, so do our traditions… and this year’s Halloween reminded me that the fun doesn’t vanish when the kids grow up. It just changes shape, and oftentimes, it gets even sweeter. We popped a giant bucket of candy on the front porch and kicked off the evening with a little pre-party at the… Read More

Making Halloween Happy {Haunted House Cake}

October 29, 2025October 29, 2025

My family knows it’s officially Halloween season when Sunday Supper hits the table with our Haunted House Cake for dessert! This has become one of those traditions I treasure and this year we got to share it with Marme and Daddy-O. I’ve used this Haunted House Bundt Pan for a few cakes every year, for… Read More

Some nights just deserve a place on the grid. 🎻⚡️ Some nights just deserve a place on the grid. 🎻⚡️

Whit had the incredible honor of learning from and performing on stage with Mark Wood… original electric violinist for Trans-Siberian Orchestra, creator of the iconic Viper electric violin and composer known for blending classical music with rock energy in the most unforgettable way.

And unforgettable is exactly what this night was.

Symphonic rock. Hard rock. Heavy metal. A full stage of student musicians absolutely pouring their hearts into every note with so much confidence, passion and energy.

And then there was Whit… featured cellist during Carry On Wayward Son, which already held a spot on my all-time favorites list before this night. Watching him up there completely in his element was one of those proud mom moments I know I’ll hold onto forever.

I know this video is long and maybe a little “mom scrapbook” coded… but this one deserved its square among the memories and adventures.🤍
