Headed through the foyer, where we left off yesterday, is the office and powder room! These little rooms get big use and I can’t leave them out of the Halloween fun.
Family Office
Elsa and I spend much of the day plugging away in here and love having some sentimental Halloween touches. I hung a felt wreath from my collection on the french door and used the same ghost chair backs I’ve had since John was a baby!
The credenza is home to my favorite collection of pumpkins. Captain Underpants and Mickey were made by the kids for pumpkin book reports years ago. Mother made the tobacco leaf pumpkin for Sister, Ron and me this year.

My desk has a lovely calendar from Simply Jessica Marie. I always look forward to turning to the next month. I previously shared one here.
The storage dresser has the two pumpkins new to my collection in 2020. I made these last year with a sweet friend.
Our old Pottery Barn Halloween count down has been purely decorative the past two years. I still love its festive colors and remembering days long gone when the boys were little! Although, I will admit John came in here poking around on October 3 so maybe I should throw some candy in them. :-)
Powder Room
I the other felt wreath here in the powder room. It is hanging from a command hook. Like last year, I picked up a cute pumpkin soap at Basin. Orange disposable guest towels complete the look.
Thank you so much for coming back day after day until we reached the dead end of the tour. I’ll do a video walk through soon!!

You really have been getting everyone in the Halloween spirit Amanda! Your tours are always so much fun and the “Boo ghosts” on the ghosts chairs are too cute. Since we are older and empty nesters we don’t do as much decorating for Halloween but more Fall instead. I love your monogram and leopard painted pumpkins. They add a bit of whimsy and glam to Fall pumpkins. I ordered the prettiest chinoserie monogram pumpkin door hanger on Etsy this season.
Thank you so much! Enjoy your fall!
