The ship is a celebration of nearly 100 years of enchanting Disney stories. Filled with one-of-a-kind experiences inspired by Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar adventures, the Disney Wish embodies the spirit of forward-thinking innovation and visionary storytelling heralded by Walt Disney himself.
The Wish
The Disney Wish continues the Disney Cruise Line tradition of incorporating an elegant, classical exterior design — a tribute to the golden age of cruising — in the emblematic colors of Mickey Mouse.
A hallmark of Disney Cruise Line is the adornment of two character art pieces on the hull of each ship. For the Disney Wish, elegant filigree artwork on the bow — an intricate scrollwork pattern reminiscent of the classic ocean liners of the 1930s — features Captain Minnie Mouse for the first time, solidifying her pioneering place at the forefront of the fleet’s future.
The stern of the Disney Wish boasts a custom sculpture of the optimistic and adventurous Rapunzel. Suspended by her golden tresses, this artistic Disney Princess will appear to be “decorating” the exterior of the ship with her trusty paintbrush and the help of her chameleon pal, Pascal.
The Grand Hall
This fairytale-inspired space is a tribute to the story of Cinderella and includes a beautiful bronze statue of the beloved princess, stained-glass embellishments in her signature colors and icons from the Disney film classic that guests can discover in unexpected places including the carpeting, metalwork and light fixtures.
So, let’s talk about the literal star of the show — the chandelier! This glittering icon was designed with magical enchantment in mind and is actually a dazzling wishing star that comes to life in wonderous ways throughout the voyage … especially when guests step inside for the first time.
This reimagined atrium evolves in a completely new way during every sailing, transforming from a classic fairytale gathering space into a thrilling theater through the magic of built-in special effects.
The Grand Hall features the first-ever atrium stage on a Disney ship, and hosts dedicated shows and interactive entertainment that puts guests front and center as they play a special role in the magic.
In fact, a royal greeting awaits families as they enter the glittering Grand Hall for the first time. Every child – or child at heart – receives their very own wishing wand upon embarkation. Here, you make the “First Wish” of your vacation during a special boarding celebration.
On the final night of every sailing, cruisers return to the Grand Hall and raise their wands with Fairy Godmother to ignite a spectacular farewell show featuring favorite characters, special effects and lively performances. It’s magic.
Concierge Staterooms, Suites and Service
The Disney Wish elevates the concierge experience with 76 concierge staterooms and suites – more than double the number available on other Disney ships. I have personally stayed in:
- Concierge 1 Bedrooms Suite with Verandah
- Concierge Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Vernadah
- Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah
Accommodating up to five guests, these rooms feature spacious living areas, king beds, luxurious finishes and premium amenities. Most include a generous private verandah, and most have been designed with the rich color palette and distinctive iconography of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Tangled.”
All concierge Guests receive a premium level of dedicated service and access to exclusive areas and amenities throughout their voyage, as well as complimentary internet for 24 hours. The Concierge Lounge is more than triple the size from previous Disney ships and offers a full bar, delicious light bites, special kids’ area and an outdoor terrace with incredible views. From the lounge, concierge Guests have access to a private sun deck with two whirlpools, a wading pool, a bar, lush lounge furniture and the superlative service of a pool deck host.
On top of those amenities, I am able to book port adventures, on-board activities, specialty dining and cabanas for concierge guests over a week before any other guests! This is a HUGE perk!!
Concierge Wish Tower Suite
This first-of-its-kind accommodation, perched high in the funnel above the upper decks, features décor inspired by the movie Moana. Enter via a special private entry and relax in the double-height living room which features a spectacular chandelier and floor-to-ceiling glass windows—ideal for taking in sweeping ocean views.
Guests of the Wish Tower Suite have at their disposal:
- 2 main bedrooms, a library/bedroom and a children’s room
- 4.5 bathrooms, including 2 main bathrooms with double sinks, stand-alone bathtubs and walk-in rain showers. The children’s room has its own bathroom with shower. Library/bedroom area on Deck 14 has a full bathroom with double sinks and a shower. There is also a Guest bathroom at the entry.
- Large, 2-story living area
- Grand spiral staircase
- A library that can serve as an additional bedroom with its own full bathroom with double sinks and shower.
- Open dining salon

Concierge 2-Story Royal Suite with Verandah (AKA Amanda’s Personal Favorite!)
Escape to sprawling, split-level quarters boasting extravagant details and first-class amenities inspired by the classic elegance of Sleeping Beauty. You will enjoy plush furnishings in a soft, dreamlike palette of blue and gold inspired by Aurora’s time in the castle, or dark, rich wood tones and stone accents evoking her life as Briar Rose.
Guests of the Royal Suites have at their disposal:
- 2 main bedrooms
- 3 full bathrooms, including 2 main bathrooms with double sinks and a Guest bathroom with a shower (one of the main bathrooms features a bathtub with a rain shower and the other has a walk-in rain shower)

Concierge 1-Bedroom Suite with Verandah
Unwind inside dreamy, Tangled-inspired quarters and take in ocean views from your private verandah. These are photos from when my party of 4 sailed in this room. It was an INCREDIBLE amount of space for a cruise and our most luxurious stateroom ever. Wow!

Living Room and Dining Room Area includes a fold down twin bed and a fold out queen sleeper sofa. The second full bathroom, spacious closet, wet bar and fridge (Stocked with non-alcoholic beverages of your choice) is also in this area. An expansive balcony runs the length of the suite.
The primary bedroom area features a sumptuous king bed, a massive walk-through closet and a completely luxurious bathroom! Soaking in this tub every night with a glass of bubbles from the concierge lounge was heaven.
Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah
Spread out in quarters that feature subtle hints to Tangled, original artwork and a serene sense of style. These are photos from our room when I cruised with just my husband on an adult-only trip!

Staterooms on The Wish
New for the Disney Wish, Walt Disney Imagineers have imbued every stateroom with the soft, dreamlike worlds and restful imagery of enchanted Disney fairytales. There are glittering gold-leafed headboard murals and framed pieces commissioned exclusively for the Disney Wish, and every detail has been designed to tell a story.
Every stateroom aboard the Disney Wish has been designed with ample room for families, plenty of storage space and upscale amenities. Most of the ship’s 1,254 staterooms will offer an ocean view — including 877 (70%) with a spacious verandah — and there will be 451 connecting doors that adjoin rooms to accommodate larger families. Some connecting staterooms will have a partition between verandahs that may be opened to create a bigger, shared balcony.
- Most staterooms feature Disney Cruise Line’s signature split-bathroom concept, with a sink and shower in one room and a sink and toilet in a separate room. All include a bathtub – perfect for giving children a bath.
- Enhanced storage options, roomy closets and elevated bed frames with generous under-bed space provide plenty of places to store suitcases and other bulky items essential to family travel.
- Little ones delight in a secret starfield hidden above pull-down beds, with original artwork revealing a constellation of Fairy Godmother overhead.
- Other exceptional amenities and highlights include a 43-inch TV, USB and USB-C ports, large vanity, mini drawer refrigerator, full-length mirror, mini safe, hair dryer, privacy divider, queen and pull-out sofa beds, deluxe toiletries, plush robes, and lavish bed linens and duvets.
Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah
A serene setting to unwind in while at sea, this room type offers generous square footage and a private place to admire the view.

Boasting even more square footage than a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, these spacious quarters let you spread out and soak up spectacular sea views.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom
