One of my favorite discoveries on the Disney Wish and Treasure is the Untangled Salon, a Rapunzel-inspired retreat where you can truly pamper yourself at sea. This beautiful space will also be featured on all four Triton-class ships (with the Disney Destiny debuting later this year).
Themed after Tangled, the salon offers a luxury experience worthy of the long-locked princess herself. Picture soft purple and golden accents, Rapunzel’s own artwork on divider screens, off-center mirrors shaped like frying pans, and the most stunning chandelier inspired by the magical golden flower. Add in floating lantern style lighting and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped straight into the kingdom of Corona.
What You’ll Find at Untangled
Guests (kids, tweens, teens, adults) can enjoy a wide menu of treatments, including:
- Haircuts, blowouts, and up-do styling
- Braids (naturally Rapunzel-approved!)
- Manicures and pedicures—including the indulgent Fire & Ice treatments
- Mani-pedi combos
- Lash lifts
- Skin treatments
- Teeth whitening
And of course, after your service, you’ll want to take a seat on the salon’s golden sun-crest throne for the perfect princess selfie.
Booking Your Appointment
Advance reservations are limited (especially if you’re not sailing Concierge), but don’t worry – you can often snag an appointment once onboard. My tip? Head straight to the salon on embarkation day to browse the menu and lock in a time that works best for you.
My Experience
On our recent Treasure voyage, I treated myself to the Fire & Ice Mani-Pedi Combo on the very first day. It was sumptuous from start to finish – relaxing, refreshing, and such a fun way to kick off our cruise. I felt completely pampered and enjoyed my princess-worthy nails all week long.
