Pre-Arrival
I work hand-in-hand with the Disney Cruise Line concierge team to craft your dream vacation—starting more than four months before you even set sail. One of the biggest advantages of sailing concierge is priority access to nearly all of the coveted experiences onboard. This early access is a major reason many of my clients choose concierge in the first place. And once they’ve experienced the exceptional, personalized service onboard, they come back to book concierge again and again. Priority Embarkation
Concierge guests are whisked through embarkation at warp speed, skipping the crowds and long waits that can come with boarding day. You’ll start your journey in the Concierge embarkation lounge at port, where you can relax in comfortable seating, enjoy complimentary beverages, and charge your devices before stepping onboard. When it’s time to board, concierge guests are invited first, giving you precious extra hours to explore the ship while it’s still delightfully uncrowded. It’s the perfect, stress-free start to your magical voyage.
Welcome Aboard Lunch
Once onboard, concierge guests are treated to an exclusive welcome lunch featuring a specially curated menu just for them. A glass of beer or wine is included—perfect for raising a toast and saying cheers to Bon Voyage! You’ll also be welcomed with a glass of bubbly in the Concierge Lounge, making embarkation day feel extra celebratory from the very first moment.
Concierge Lounge
Concierge Level guests on Disney Cruise Line enjoy access to a private, keyed-entry lounge—a beautiful, serene space designed for both relaxation and convenience. Whether you’re enjoying a drink, grabbing a light bite, or working with the concierge team to fine-tune your plans, the service is truly top-notch.
The lounge often becomes a welcoming extension of your stateroom, especially as cabin space starts to feel a bit cozy. It’s the perfect spot for Dad to take the kids for a snack and cartoons while Mom gets ready, or for Mom to sneak away for a quiet coffee while the kids sleep in. Larger families and groups also love gathering here in a more private, comfortable setting than they’d find elsewhere on the ship. With elegant décor and thoughtful amenities, it’s a space you’ll find yourself retreating to more often than you ever expected.
We immediately noted the subtle Star Wars touches in the Treasure lounge. Do you see them?!
The concierge lounge is available to guests from 7AM to 10PM, with a variety of food and drink – hot and cold – items at each service time.
Daily offerings include Breakfast from 7 – 10:30 AM.
Lunch from 11 AM – 4:30 PM
Dinner from 5-8PM
Dessert Treats all day, also from 9-10PM
A self serve fridge offers complimentary bottled water, soft drinks, milk and juices all day long. Your stateroom attendant will also stock the fridge in your room with your favorites! For us, that was perrier and coke!
Specialty coffees, teas and hot chocolate are available throughout the service hours at the touch of a button.
Complimentary beer, wine and cocktails from a full bar are available each evening from 5-10PM. These are not house offerings, but a very nice selection that you will absolutely love! Wine glasses are filled to the top with a friendly smile. Cocktails are made to order. It is a wonderful experience and you are welcome to enjoy happy hour in the lounge, or take it to go.
The Disney Treasure concierge lounge has its own galley and chef and offers a small menu of made to order hot items as well! We tried breakfast, lunch and dinner and LOVED this perk! Everything was phenomenal and we didn’t once visit the ship buffet. Here are a few of our selections and a couple of the menus (changed daily).
Concierge guests also have access to complimentary room service, like all guests. Suite guests have the option of having dinner dinner delivered to their stateroom from the main dining room. Palo delivery is even available to the Royal Suite guests!
Concierge Sundeck
The Concierge Lounge also offers access to an exclusive Sundeck, complete with hot tubs, lounger chairs, and a wading pool—and let me tell you, it’s absolutely AMAZING! Tucked away at the very front of the ship, this quiet, serene spot is the perfect place to unwind, cool off, and soak in those breathtaking ocean views. Whether you’re sipping a drink, reading a book, or simply enjoying the sea breeze, the Concierge Sundeck is a hidden gem you’ll never want to leave.
There are PLENTY of the most comfortable loungers on the ship, as well as umbrellas and shaded areas. These are hard to find on the main pool deck. There are hot tubs on all of the ships and a refreshing wading pool on the Wish.
Suntan lotion, towels and non-alcoholic drinks – including a Dole Whip smoothie – are all provided. And, the best part – the cool towels that are offered throughout the day!
Surprise Treats
Concierge guests are often surprised with special treats throughout their cruise, adding little touches of magic to an already amazing vacation. For example, we returned to our stateroom the first night to find a beautifully arranged fruit tray waiting for us. The nightly turndown service was top-notch—thoughtful, polished, and consistent. On our final evening, we received a lovely commemorative print, a keepsake we’ll always treasure. These thoughtful gestures are just another reason why sailing concierge feels so special from start to finish.
Character Meets
Concierge guests typically have the opportunity to enjoy a private Disney character meet-and-greet in the lounge. We have not taken advantage of this, but it is a nice perk for families with young children!
Early Access to the Walt Disney Theatre for Live Broadway Style Shows
Forty-five minutes prior to the start of the show, see your Concierge Team in the elevator landing on Deck 2 Forward to be escorted through an exclusive entrance to the Walt Disney Theatre to choose your seats before the doors open to the rest of the audience! You avoid long lines and get the pick of the litter seat wise! These shows are spectacular and not to be missed.
Complimentary Fresh Popcorn before Showtime
Simply present your Gold Key To the World Cards at the refreshment stands before any movie or show and enjoy fresh popcorn. My kids LOVE this!
Internet Package
All concierge guests age 18+ enjoy 24 hours of “basic surf” internet. Suite guests receive complimentary internet for the entire voyage.
Stateroom Amenities
Concierge guests enjoy upgraded toiletries, a menu of pillows to select from and so much more! All staterooms have a refrigerator stocked with complimentary bottled water and sodas of your choice. These are the little details that truly elevate the experience!
Early Debarkation
After a relaxed breakfast in the Concierge Lounge, the concierge team will personally escort you off the ship, making disembarkation as seamless and stress-free as the rest of your voyage. You’ll take a private elevator straight to the gangway, bypassing the crowds and chaos that often come with the end of a cruise. It may not sound like a major perk—until you’ve experienced the alternative: standing in a packed lobby with your luggage, your family, and thousands of other guests. Trust me, this quiet, dignified departure is the perfect final touch to a magical concierge sailing.
Concierge Team
Once you’ve sailed concierge, I think you’ll agree—the Concierge Team is the best perk of all. This incredible group of crew members is dedicated to one goal: ensuring you have the most spectacular, stress-free vacation possible. You’ll never wait in line at Guest Services or frantically refresh the app trying to snag a beverage tasting. Instead, the concierge team takes care of every detail, from excursions and dining changes to onboard payments, laundry, and even those little last-minute wishes. Whatever you dream up, they’re ready to make it happen—with a smile.
Is It Worth It?
Concierge staterooms sell out on every Disney Cruise Line voyage, often well before regular rooms—so planning early is key. Pricing varies based on ship, season, and sail date, and yes, concierge rooms do come at a premium. But if you’re looking for a personalized, elevated, more luxurious experience, concierge is absolutely worth considering. If you’re someone who prefers to skip the buffets, avoid crowds, and hates waiting in lines, you’ll especially appreciate the perks and exclusivity that come with this level of service. It’s like a cruise within a cruise that only a handful of guests are even aware of!
That said, if concierge isn’t in your budget, I have zero hesitation recommending the cruise anyway! I’ve sailed with Disney 17 times, and a number of those were not in concierge. Every single trip has been spectacular.
