The Disney Wish {Senses Spa & Rainforest Room}

Since we were on a mission of relaxation, food and fun, we spent our Nassau port day luxuriating in Senses Spa. It is a beautiful space on the Disney Wish, and I absolutely prefer this spa over the rest of the fleet.

Rainforest Room

My personal favorite spot to relax and unwind is the Rainforest Room. Day passes and length of cruise passes can be purchased at the spa once onboard. This indoor area features heated lounges, fountains, an aromatherapy steam room, a dry sauna and a calming pool.

For the first time aboard a Disney ship, Senses Spa features a dedicated outdoor relaxation space! This open-air oasis is a brand-new extension to the signature Rainforest experience.

The Rainforest Room and Outdoor Oasis are not included with a spa treatment. They are entirely separate bookings, made once onboard, and I HIGHLY suggest adding the Rainforest Room on for a full spa experience. Head to the spa on day one as space does sell out!

Senses Spa

Fun meets tranquility on the Disney Wish at Senses Spa—a nature-inspired oasis offering a full menu of spa and beauty treatments.

The spa is beautiful but there is really no reason to arrive early for your appointment unless you have added on the Rainforest Room. Just come in about 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

There are mens and womens locker rooms, with towels, a toilet stall and a few shower areas. The “relaxation room” is just 4 chairs in a tight space. Hence, why I strongly suggest the Rainforest Room. I like to arrive at the spa hours early to relax before my treatment.

The treatment rooms are beautiful and serene. I honestly don’t even know the name of the service I had but it was wonderful and memorable (I changed it on arrival). This is a heated, massaging, mineral bed and my treatment included massage, stones, feet and facial.

While the Rainforest Room is not booked in advance, spa treatments are and space does sell out.

Let’s Set Sail

As a Premier Level Advisor with Glass Slipper Concierge, I am recognized for providing the highest level of customer service, experience, and knowledge in the industry.  I use my personal connections and firsthand expertise to craft bespoke Disney trips for the most discerning clients.  On top of that, Disney vacations are expensive and I know how to get the best value for your time and money.

In today’s ever changing travel environment, it is important to have a travel advisor with recent AND personal experience in your destination.  My family are platinum level cruisers on Disney Cruise Line, having sailed on the most magical ships at sea more than TEN times. Not only that, but you can count on my recent and personal experience sailing two to three times a year. I’ve experienced every stateroom type available, from the inside to a concierge suite. And, I’ve dined in the restaurants, enjoyed the port adventures and done it all so I can best advise YOU! Since they resumed sailing after covid-19, I sailed the Dream in August 2021 and the Wish in July AND November 2022.  I’ll be back on-board in May 2023!

The Disney Wish sails year-round from Port Canaveral, offering a series of three- and four-night Bahamas cruises to Nassau and Disney’s private island oasis, Castaway Cay. I am booking Disney Cruise Line vacations across the fleet of five incredible ships through December 2023, and have an ongoing interest list for 2024 and beyond.
