I was just saying yesterday that March seems like years ago. Well, let’s go back and back and back to my birthday on March 8th for a moment. :-) Honey indulged me and made the trek down to Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit for breakfast for two at the bar! I’d only been once before, but absolutely loved it. The second time also did not disappoint.
It’s the kind of place where you’re likely to find a line out of the building, and feel a tinge of pressure to order quickly when its your turn. I was ready with my biscuit and pimento cheese, orange juice and FREE birthday biscuit order!
We didn’t bring the boys because it’s a long ride and a tight space. As much as I love our usual birthday donuts at home, this little breakfast sitting elbow to elbow with Honey and blowing out my candle was one of the most memorable parts of my day. When we are back to life as we knew it, I think I’ll be a little more likely to make the long drive for something special, different and memorable. How about you?
