I Love {Nepresso Affogato + Iced Coffee}

With summer here in full effect, I’ve been trading in my occasional afternoon cappuccino for an iced version.  I make it in the Nepresso like normal, but in a mason jar.  I add a little cream, 3 ice cubes, tighten the lid and shake shake shake.  It’s really quite yummy!!

But, that’s not really super exciting.

On a couple of SUPER hot days where I feel like I’m craving a really indulgent treat (or have company) I’ve been making affogato!  It’s just a scoop of vanilla ice cream with the espresso poured on top.  I also love the triple almond cookies at Trader Joe’s and throw one of those on top for good measure.  Y’all, this is amazing!

Now, in writing this post I realized that I never mailed out the Mickey templates from my giveaway for Coffee with Character!  The four randomly chosen winners are….

Leah PS – going to Disney in July
Tania – who loves Thunder Mountain
Liz – Four Season Family (yay!)
Christie – loves Soarin’ and has a nepresso

I hope your week is off to a great start.  We are now done with summer lacrosse and had our last swim meet last night.  The relaxing part of summer is finally here!
