Honey Turns 40

Lordy, Lordy, Honey is 40!! The night before, Mother and I snuck out in the yard and set this up. Of course it didn’t even occur to us that the sprinklers might come on and douse them before they ever saw the light of day. Ha!

We celebrated later than evening with our usual Japanese hibachi birthday dinner…

(Where strangely this one couldn’t tear himself away from his book…)

And then the family headed back to our place for cake, chocolate covered strawberries and champs!!!

It was a simple and perfect celebration for the best husband, father, son, brother and friend in the world. I love him so much and cannot wait to see how the next forty unfold!!!!
