The Disney Wish {The Rose & Palo Steakhouse Adult Dining}

After two voyages on the Disney Wish, I have been able to review SO many experiences for you and my clients. Where Palo is an Italian steakhouse taking it’s decor nods from Cogsworth, Enchante is elegant French dining beautifully inspired by Lumiere. Today I will cover the stunning Palo Steakhouse.

The Rose

The Rose is a chic lounge at the entrance of Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté. Inspired by the fateful flower at the heart of the Beauty and the Beast story, The Rose is an idyllic setting for a pre-dinner aperitif or after-dinner cocktail, and I highly recommend making time to enjoy it in conjunction with your Palo dinner.

Palo Steakhouse

Prepare to be pampered at this elegant, adults-only restaurant inspired by the lovable pomp and circumstance of Cogsworth, the enchanted clock from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

The design of this space features dark wood detailing that is adorned with clockwork-inspired wall art. The layout offers oversized banquette seating or the option for a more intimate table that is adjacent to expansive windows offering stunning ocean views.

An evolution of the Palo restaurant that Disney cruisers already know and love, Palo Steakhouse offers a scrumptious selection of premium steaks and exquisite Italian dishes. Our meal started with cocktails, bread and amuse bouche.

There is a four course Prezzo Fisso option, or guests can order a la carte. We went with the latter, as some of our favorite dishes are not offered with the Prezzo Fisso. We started with the Sliced Herbed Yellowfin Tuna.

For pastas, we chose Agnolotti & Soft Potato Gnocchi. These are our two favorites from Palo on the rest of the fleet.

Our main course was exquisite: Piquant Dover Sole & Japanese A5 Wagyu Strip Loin, Whipped Yukon Gold Potato Purée & Broccolini

Desserts: Chocolate Soufflé & 6-Layer Carrot Cake

The service was fun yet sophisticated, the food was divine and the restaurant itself set the scene for a memorable evening. After much consideration, we both agreed it was our favorite meal in the entire Disney Cruise Line fleet! (We also ran into my friend Rachel here!!)

We have always set aside a night for adult dining on Disney Cruise Line. They boys happily go to the kids clubs and we enjoy a spectacular date at sea.

Let’s Set Sail

As a Premier Level Advisor with Glass Slipper Concierge, I am recognized for providing the highest level of customer service, experience, and knowledge in the industry.  I use my personal connections and firsthand expertise to craft bespoke Disney trips for the most discerning clients.  On top of that, Disney vacations are expensive and I know how to get the best value for your time and money.

In today’s ever changing travel environment, it is important to have a travel advisor with recent AND personal experience in your destination.  My family are platinum level cruisers on Disney Cruise Line, having sailed on the most magical ships at sea more than TEN times. Not only that, but you can count on my recent and personal experience sailing two to three times a year. I’ve experienced every stateroom type available, from the inside to a concierge suite. And, I’ve dined in the restaurants, enjoyed the port adventures and done it all so I can best advise YOU! Since they resumed sailing after covid-19, I sailed the Dream in August 2021 and the Wish in July AND November 2022.  I’ll be back on-board in May 2023!

The Disney Wish sails year-round from Port Canaveral, offering a series of three- and four-night Bahamas cruises to Nassau and Disney’s private island oasis, Castaway Cay. I am booking Disney Cruise Line vacations across the fleet of five incredible ships through December 2023, and have an ongoing interest list for 2024 and beyond.
