Happy Hour {1908 Mule}

It’s Friday and the sun is shining and the boys are all home and I was inspired to bring back the Empress Gin Friday Happy Hour post! This was an absolutely delicious cocktail, especially given our mutual love of Empress and mules!

1908 Mule

The perfect blend of fresh and floral with a healthy kick of spice!

  • 1.5 oz Empress 1908 Gin
  • 1/4 oz Elderflower Liqueur
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup
  • 3/4 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz ginger beer to top (we love the Q small cans found at Target)
  • Mint to muddle
  • Garnish with lime wheel, mint and candied ginger (Trader Joe’s)

Add lime juice and syrup to shaker and muddle 6 mint leaves. Add remaining ingredients, besides ginger beer, to shaker with ice. Shake until chilled and strain into glass. Top with ginger beer and garnish.
