Spring Break kicks off in a matter of hours and I thought I’d share once last fun cocktail before we hit the road. I have had this one on my “maybe” list for a year, not convinced how good it would taste. When bestie M left a bottle of OJ here, I decided it was time to give it a shake! Honey and I both very much enjoyed it and can definitely recommend it as a tasty cocktail.
Empress Orange Creamsicle
This little spring spritz is like an orange creamsicle for adults, with fresh orange juice, vanilla-infused syrup and, of course, a splash of Empress 1908!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz Empress 1908 Gin
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz orange juice
- 1/2 oz vanilla syrup (like you would use in coffee at Starbucks)
- Garnish with orange slice
METHOD
Shake the orange juice, lemon juice, and vanilla syrup on ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass with fresh ice. Layer the Empress 1908 Gin on top. Garnish with an orange slice. We recommend stirring before you sip!
