The quiet, loving, loyal, patient man we call Honey and Dad turned 46 today!!
It’s almost hard to believe we’ve celebrated 23 birthdays together since our days at Georgia Tech. He ordered himself new floor mats for his Jeep (which will soon be John’s) and we’ve been working on making him a real office at home since it doesn’t seem he will ever return to his building.
John asked permission to spend the weekend at his best friend’s lake house and Honey enthusiastically agreed. The other three of us spent eight hours on the ball field and then went to his favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner.
It was low key and relaxed, just like the man we were celebrating. <3
