Chefs de France in Epcot’s World Showcase is one of the places I most frequently send clients as it is unique, tasty and a great use of the dining plan! Tucked right in the “heart of Paris”, this charming cafe makes for a lovely lunch or dinner.
Inside, high ceilings, intricate mosaic flooring and expansive windows looking out onto the promenade are a lovely setting for your meal!
Delight in French nouvelle cuisine at this family-friendly brasserie as you drink in views of World Showcase promenade.
My favorite meal is the salade de chèvre chaud (Baked Goat Cheese with walnuts, fresh grapes, tomatoes, endives, mixed salad) and Gratin de Macaroni (Macaroni Baked with cream and Gruyère cheese). For dessert, I adore the Cygne Profiterole au Chocolat (Swan Cream Puff filled with Vanilla Ice Cream and Chocolate Sauce) but sometimes I head back to the L’Artisan des Glaces ice cream shop for my most favorite dessert of all – the chocolate macaron ice cream sandwich.
My stomach is growling just thinking about it!
While I still enjoy Chefs de France today, my favorite memories of this eatery were back before 2013 when a mini animatronic Chef Remy would come to your table on request! (John, September 2011)
