At the beginning of the summer I shared the news that my 19 year career at The Coca-Cola Company had come to a close. I also mentioned that there was a big thing I really wanted but didn’t have much of a chance at getting. Well, I never heard back from that thing. But something else – even more exciting and even more perfect found me – Glass Slipper Concierge.
On June 8, the first work day I missed at Coke, I signed the dotted line to become an independent consultant with Glass Slipper Concierge, an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner!!
Since then I have been working tirelessly, through every trip, vacation, sporting event and all … I kid you not, to officially establish my LLC, write a business plan, figure out how and if Glass Slipper Concierge can work with Dixie Delights, set up my Facebook page, train with my agency owner, meet with my team leader, and so forth and so on. Oh, and perhaps most fun for me, I’ve also now graduated from the College of Disney Knowledge. I cannot wait to frame that diploma right next to Georgia Tech and Georgia State – it is the cutest of the lot :-)
And, thanks to an incredibly supportive network, I’ve booked five vacations to Walt Disney World and two Disney Cruises, as well as trips to the Hermitage in Nashville, The Roosevelt in New Orleans and the Salamander Resort and Spa in Virginia! In a month!!!

Amanda grew up traveling to the Walt Disney World® Resort with her family and never grew out of it! In the last five years alone, Amanda has taken over 30 Disney vacations across Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland® Resort, Aulani, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney’s Hilton Head Resort. Specializing in Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Line, Amanda has personally stayed at all but one resort on the Walt Disney World Resort property and has cruised five times with Disney Cruise Line.
Amanda makes it her mission to try new and exciting things at Disney destinations on every trip and brings this expertise and experience to her clients. She doesn’t just go to the parks, she is adept at adding extra magic to every trip.
