On My Bedside {Beautiful Creatures}

Well, well, well, what’s old is new again.  It’s been tooooo long since I shared an “On My Bedside” review.  I spent most of my evenings this summer with my nose buried in the Beautiful Creatures series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.

Now, I know it won’t come as a surprise to y’all that I found these in the young adult section of the library.  I mean, I was headed towards the literature section (obviously) when these practically fell off the shelf at my feet.

There are seven books in the series.  Here’s the synopsis for the first, titled Beautiful Creatures:

Ethan Wate is haunted by dreams of a girl he’s never met. When Lena Duchannes moves into his small southern town of Gatlin County, Ethan is inexplicably drawn to her. And he is determined to uncover the strange connection between them, even if it means uncovering the one secret that could change everything.

In the interest of complete and total honesty, I will say these books are good enough.  They aren’t earth shattering, you aren’t going to stay up all night binge reading and they won’t linger long after you’ve finished them.  But they were certainly entertaining enough for me to read the lot of them!

Since it’s been so long, I’d LOVE to know what’s on your bedside!!  I am definitely in need of some good reads.

xoxo
