S is for Snack {Free Printable}

The baby’s class wrapped up their unit on letters today with a fabulous little parade! Each student chose a letter and dressed accordingly. The teachers asked me to provide a snack for the class and I had so much fun coming up with this…

In each bag there is a cheese stick and apple slices, with water to wash it all down. Healthy, tidy and pretty darn cute!

I purchased the lined paper bags from Endless Inkabilities on etsy and was thrilled at how fast she shipped them out. With everything that’s been going on around here I was very late in ordering them. I ran them straight through my printer and couldn’t be more pleased with how they turned out!

You can download the free printable files below. The bags are sized to print at 5×7.5” and the cheese and water labels should be cut in 1” strips.

Whit chose “M is for man” for the day’s events and was extremely particular on exactly how a man should dress. “Mans wear long pants, shirts with lots of buttons and a tie.” Done, done and done.

The kids paraded around the track for their parents, and the whole thing was just darling. We were out of town the day that John’s class did this in Kindergarten so I had a lot of fun being a first timer.

Right after the parade, John’s class took the field for their Olympics celebrating the end of the unit on ancient Greece. There were four events and John won THREE of them for the boys. He was so excited and his classmates really couldn’t have been more positive or encouraging – with high fives and hugs abounding. It was really good for my mommy heart to see him smiling like this!

With that, I’m beyond ready for the weekend. Both my babies are smiling, bestie M’s mom is officially cancer free, my ankle is improving, my MRI is done and my follow-up appointment got bumped up by four days. Things are looking up! :-)
