We have a new driver in the house!! Whit and I spent Saturday morning at the DDS securing his learner’s permit. How is this even possible?!
So far, I can tell you he drives with same zest in which he rides. oof.
Once we got about three miles away from home we pulled over in a school parking lot and he took the wheel for the first time. It was white knuckles for both of us! After a good deal of practice there, and a little whiplash for all, I let him drive us the rest of the way home. I know it’s only been three years, but I truly forgot just how scary this phase of parenting is.
If you need me, I’ll be steeling myself for the next time out on the wide open roads!
