For the second year running, John has attended an etiquette class after school. It is fabulous! At each of the five weekly classes they learn about a different topic, including introductions, phone etiquette, thank you notes, and table manners. The class culminated tonight with a fancy dinner at a local restaurant. We got there a few minutes early and I couldn’t resist grabbing some pictures of my almost-9-year-old all dressed up in his Beaufort Bonnet Company bow-tie. I adore these because they are sized for boys aged 2-12 AND you can put a monogram on them. *swoon*
Only the littles were allowed to attend this four course extravaganza, but bestie P and I literally hid out a table just behind the curtain to their room and spied on the whole precious event.
Afterwards, John joined us at our table for a while. His teacher came by and told us what an exemplary student he had been. He’s a regular Mr. Manners. :-) I gave her fair warning that little brother will be enrolling next year…
