We scooted off to a little holiday weekend cookout with friends last night and had technically “signed up” only for dessert, but when I realized I had a wheel of brie in the fridge that needed to be used, I decided to throw together a quick appetizer too.
Step one, naturally, was heading over to Cheese Gal’s Instagram to see what might work with what I already had on hand. I landed on this reel and immediately knew it was the winner: Cheese Gal Baked Brie Reel
Like the Cheese Gal herself, I used what I had. And that was fig preserves!
This appetizer quite literally came together in under five minutes. Into the oven for about fifteen and we were out the door.
It ended up being such a crowd pleaser and was so much easier than many of the baked brie recipes that involve puff pastry, brown sugar and all the extra fuss.
Definitely making this one again!
