Sunday Supper {Crock Pot Hamburger Soup}

This week’s edition of Sunday Supper was a big bowl of comfort in the very best way. We enjoyed Hamburger Soup from Real Food Whole Life, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It’s filling without being heavy, deeply satisfying, and exactly what you want simmering away on a cold winter night. And it feeds my hungry crew, which is always a win.

True to her promise, the recipe came together easily, and after seeing its near five-star rating and countless glowing reviews online, we were curious if it could really live up to all that praise. The verdict was unanimous. Every single one of us agreed it earned every star. This is the kind of soup you go back for seconds of, and consider hiding away the last of the leftovers for your own lunch the next day. ha! I’ve already earmarked two more of her recipes to try this week.

Quick Tip: Don’t forget to stir the soup periodically. The potatoes on top were not as done as those on bottom as the finish time neared.

And speaking of real life, it’s been such a gift to pause and truly celebrate the season with my family and a full house. Honey and I are back to work. Whit has kicked off the second half of junior year, and John started his first three days of his semester.

Happy Sunday, friends!

The Steak House Cheese Spread is exactly that for my family. The original Steak House on Victory Drive in Savannah was a… Read More
