Sleepy Hollow in Disney’s Magic Kingdom

If you’ve followed our Disney escapades since the beginning, you’ll know that one of my favorite Disney foods anywhere is the nutella and fruit waffle sandwich at Sleepy Hollow.

This quick serve restaurant is located in Magic Kingdom where Liberty Square meets Main Street near the Hall of Presidents and Christmas Shop.

The sweet waffle sandwich is freshly made and amazing. We always share it, whether for breakfast or just a snack. If going for breakfast, I also love the french vanilla iced coffee. Yum!

Other favorite items on the menu:

  • Egg & Cheese Waffle Sandwich – Honey and the boys love this one. I prefer the nutella version. We usually get both and share!
  • Sweet & Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich – It sounds odd but it is SO yummy, especially for slightly adventurous eaters.
  • Corn dog – I personally think this is one of the best corn dogs in the parks!

While Sleepy Hollow is one of the few places you can find a quick serve Mickey waffle in the parks (and just a snack credit on the dining plan!), I could never forego the nutella and fruit waffle sandwich for that.

We’ve talked about the great points of Sleepy Hollow. Now, for the down side… if there is a line be prepared to wait. It does not move quickly. They make each and every item on the spot and it does take time. Once you wait to place your order, then you have to wait to receive your food. We almost always have to bus our own table as well. If we ever walk by and see a very short line, you can bet we stop and call it a little bit of pixie dust. :-)

While you wait, you can scout out a table, usually catch the side of a castle stage show, watch the ducks in the lagoon, or make use of the photo pass photographer that is normally stationed here.

As for the rest of our Magic Kingdom day, this was a special one because we had JuJu along for her 75th birthday!!! She was in awe of everything and seeing her experience Disney was pretty magical for the whole family.

I hope you had a magical Monday!
