Bestie M and I have been dreaming about hosting our girl friends for “the ultimate Lilly pool party” since the day she first decided to put in a pool. It only took us eighteen months, but we finally did it last weekend. We pooled all of our Lilly things, decked her deck in pink and green and invited the ladies over!
I snapped these pictures before our guests arrived but it got even prettier once the sun went down and all the candles and fire pit were lit.
We wanted to go very simple on the food. We served Chicken Salad Chick, cheese straws, petit fours and the Lilly cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake! At the end of the night we passed the cutest sorbet served inside of fruit. I so regret not getting a picture of that!
It was SUCH a FUN night and we can’t wait to make it an annual soiree to kick off spring!
