Celebrating 60

We celebrated our dear friend’s 60th birthday last weekend. Wanting to do something a little more special than wrap up a bottle for this milestone occasion, I considered the bottles of all of his favorite liquors and settled on RumChata. It was big, white and completely flat so it was a winner for my project!

I made a list of his favorite things to work off of and sat down Saturday afternoon with the puppies, some country music and my acrylic craft paints. Once everything dried, I sprayed it with three clear coats in hopes that it won’t easily scratch or rub off. It’s not perfect, but it sure was a lot of fun to make AND give.

It was a FUN night celebrating “little” Mark. Thankful for friends like him.
