Blue Dragon Pan Asian Restaurant in Universal Epic Universe

Take a culinary journey across Asia at The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant in Universal Epic Universe. We dined in at Blue Dragon in September and I’m here to help you decide if you should nosh or not!

Tucked inside Celestial Park, this vibrant dining spot invites guests into a glowing courtyard where it’s always evening. Lanterns twinkle overhead, neon dragons race across the walls, and the whimsical Tiger Bar serves cocktails with flair. It’s imaginative, lively, and full of personality.

We sampled two noodle dishes between the three of us:

Chicken Khao Soi
Thai coconut curry broth, grilled chicken, dan dan noodles, green papaya salad, Thai basil
→ This was our unanimous favorite – flavorful and comforting.

Beef Xi’an Noodles
Spicy braised beef, Napa cabbage, Sichuan spice, garlic, hot oil, dragon sauce

Both were solid picks, and portions were generous.

Blue Dragon is a very solid choice if you’re looking for:

  • An air-conditioned break mid-day
  • A lively dining experience with fun theming
  • A spot that appeals to a variety of taste buds

However, and in the spirit of honest reviews, while the food was good, it wasn’t dramatically better or more unique than what we can find at home. You’re paying for the experience and the convenience of dining inside the park. It’s great for a dinner during peak season, lunch on a sweltering Florida day or a casual meal with a group that enjoys sharing dishes and soaking in the atmosphere.

Blue Dragon offers a fun, flavorful, and immersive dining experience that perfectly complements Epic Universe’s theming. While it is not be a must-do for me, it’s a restaurant I’d happily return to in the right circumstances.
