A Draper James Inspired 40th Birthday

I had the honor of joining in with a group of talented friends to put together a Draper James inspired 40th birthday party for our fabulous friend Lindsay! Her thoughtful husband enlisted me in a crew of party planners to ensure L was celebrated in the same way she cares for all us.

And it turned out to be a PERFECT evening of friends, food, family and dancing!

The menu consisted of Southern staples and the birthday girl’s favorites.

We set tables for dining, had a DJ on the verandah and space for dancing in between.

L is your quintessential Southern lady and adores Draper James. We used those colors – and a few party items from the site – for the theme. We even hand tied all of the bow napkins!

L’s mom brought her favorite strawberry cakes from Birmingham and they were absolutely delicious!

A champagne wall and photos of the birthday girl from the last 4 decades were fun touches.

Cheers to the birthday girl, a fabulous group of friends, and my crew of party planners.

It was an unforgettable night!
